Exports and the free site check

Downloading an article

Open any article that has text and use the two buttons on its page.

  • Download .docx gives a Word document: the title as a heading, the full text with headings, bold, italics, lists and clickable links, and the images in place with their alt text as a caption underneath.
  • Download Markdown gives a plain-text Markdown file. When the article has images, it comes as a .zip with the Markdown file and an images folder, so the picture links inside the file work.

The file is built from the latest saved version of the article, is named after the title, and contains none of the working notes you may have seen in the editor. There is no copy-to-clipboard for the article body and no export of the content plan, the brand profile or the performance figures; if you need one of those, tell us.

The free site check

At audit.cpywrk.com anyone can check a published page, no account needed. It answers one question: could an AI assistant lift a clean, attributable answer from this page?

  1. Paste the page address and click “Audit this page”. Within seconds you get the technical audit: twenty checks on how the page is built, in five groups (Discoverability, Technical, Metadata, Content structure, Schema), each marked Pass, Fail or Advisory with a line on what to change. Examples: whether AI crawlers may read the page, whether it has a sitemap and a canonical address, the title length, the meta description, one main heading, alt text on images, and structured data.
  2. To get the second half, the AI content analysis, enter your email address and click “Get my GEO report”. Twelve checks on the writing itself follow, such as whether the page opens with a direct answer, backs claims with evidence, cites authoritative sources and shows when it was written, each marked Pass, Soft miss or Hard fail with coaching on what to change.
  3. The same report is emailed to you with the three things worth fixing first and a link to the full report. The link works for 30 days and can be forwarded to whoever looks after the page. “Share report” on the page gives you the same link.

The check reads the page as published; it does not run page scripts, so a page that only renders with them cannot be checked. It also does not measure speed, rankings, links or grammar. Pages that block automated visitors say so in the result, and a page that cannot be found or is not a web page gets a plain message. There is a daily limit per device.

Every email from the site check has an unsubscribe link; after that the check still works on screen but no report is sent.
