How to use cpywrk

One page per task, in the order a new customer meets them. Each page is written from the app as it works today and carries the date it was checked.

  1. Getting started: your business, your website, your brand profile

Three steps take you from a new account to a business cpywrk can write for: create your account, add your business, and check the brand profile drafted from your website.

  2. Requesting an article and reviewing it

Every article passes through Brief, Copy, Publish and Completed. Where you are asked to look, what each email links to, and what to do if a step stops.

  3. Working on your article in the editor

Reading, changing and approving an article in the editor: the Rewrite tool, the Keywords and Quality panels, images, placeholders, business facts and saved versions.

  4. Publishing your articles

Connect Shopify, WordPress or your own website once, then publish every approved article with one click, right away or at a time you choose.

  5. Seeing how your articles perform

Give cpywrk read access to Google Search Console and, if you want, Google Analytics, and the Performance tab shows clicks, positions, visits and competing pages per article.

  6. Planning your content

The Plan tab proposes the articles worth writing over the coming months, with the search term, volume and reason for each. Approve the ones you want and they become article requests.

  7. Teaching cpywrk about your business

Six places to feed cpywrk beyond the brand profile: standing rules, the Library, your voice from your own writing, what kind of business you are, your market, products and websites.

  8. Team and account

Inviting colleagues and their roles, how articles count against your plan, billing, your profile, the app language, and the emails cpywrk sends you.

  9. Social posts from an article

Ready-to-paste posts for LinkedIn, X and Instagram from a finished article or any text, in your brand voice. You copy and paste them; cpywrk does not post for you.

  10. Exports and the free site check

Download any article as a Word or Markdown file, and check any published page at audit.cpywrk.com for whether an AI assistant could lift a clean, attributable answer from it.

  11. Publishing cpywrk articles to your own website

For sites that are not on WordPress or Shopify: a five-minute webhook setup in cpywrk, and the exact request your website receives, with a PHP and a Node script your developer can use as they are.

  12. Show live prices and add-to-cart buttons in your cpywrk articles

Install the free cpywrk Live Prices app on your Shopify store to keep article prices current and let readers add products to their cart without leaving the article.
